WVE believes that women have a fundamental right to grow, bear and raise children in an environment that is free of toxic chemicals. Women's reproductive health and the health of future children should be a societal responsibility.

WVE is working to reduce mercury pollution by shifting the balance of responsibility -- as well as the balance of power -- by elevating the voices of all women.
